Resources to Learn How to Type Faster

Hi! My name’s Zach and at the moment I work in a warehouse. I have a reasonable goal to leave for my first IT job by June 2025. Let’s talk about how to type fast because if you’re like me you probably don’t know how to do this. And to be fair I don’t type at an elite level but I do type faster than the average person. Last week I tested myself and I hit 70 WPMs at high 90% accuracy.
Here’s just a couple free resources I use to help me practice typing:
We live in the information age and if you do a Youtube search you can find people that are way more knowledgeable about this skill than I am.

You don’t need to type 300 WPMs but if you’re typing at a slow rate (let’s say 20 WPMs) you will have to get good at this skill. I know in software engineering roles part of the interview will consist of doing a coding challenge and if you can’t type at a fast rate the interviewer will notice.
